Today, I am going to review one of the best services for working with torrents. It is my long term review as I am using Seedr for the last 3 years.
Seedr is a service that lets you instantly stream, download and manage torrents directly on the cloud.
My Experience
I first came to know about Seedr a few years ago when I was looking for a reliable alternative to different torrent clients. Initially, I came to know about Zbigz and Bitport. My initial impressions with Zbigz were not great due to slow speeds and very limited free tier storage. It’s the reason I pivoted more towards Bitport. Around the same time, I found Seedr, and since then, I have used both, Bitport and Seedr for few months to understand which one is better for me. I found Seedr have a cleaner UI and is easier to use. Also, in some cases, it could download files that Bitport was not able to download.
Non-premium users get 2 GB free storage. You can also increase the storage by following some activities such as inviting others, twitter review post etc.
Pricing
There are 3 different premium options available on Seedr. You can opt for 30 GB/month (basic) — $6.95, 100 GB/month (pro) — $9.95 or 1 TB/month (master) — $19.95 storage options. The Basic plan would be a good option for new users. More experienced users can go with the Pro plan, which is also the most popular plan. The Master plan would be suitable for advanced users.
There are extensions available for Chrome and Firefox that quickly add downloads to Seedr without the need to copy and paste links. You can find them using the links given below.
